Objective
Design and build a modern, highly scalable wastewater treatment plant to treat sanitary sewer from the new Riverstone Development being established in southeast Madera County.
Challenge
Constructing the design-build project on a tight schedule while keeping as many of the originally designed infrastructure elements in the project as possible.
Result
Meet the regulatory requirements for disposal via evaporation/percolation ponds and Title 22 reuse, and expand wastewater treatment and disposal from 65,000 gallons per day to 1.8 million gallons per day.
