Objective
Construct cast-in-place electrical and mechanical equipment slabs spread out over the 100 square miles lake bed.
Challenge
Working in extreme conditions with occasional near whiteout dust storms and temperatures above 120 degrees in the summer.
Result
Significantly reduce the amount of dust production from the lakebed and create a haven for the Snowy Plovers and other migratory birds.
