Objective
Construct a 10 MGD plant upgrade utilizing 6.7 million gallons of tankage and multiple treatment processes.
Challenge
Constructing a large number of concrete structures at once including 3 oxidation ditches with a total volume of 5.7 million gallons and 4 new 90-foot diameter secondary clarifiers.
Result
Position the City for future expansion by exceeding state expectations for environmental cleanliness, coming in $300,000 under budget and ahead of schedule. According to the Public Works Director the project was a huge success for everybody involved.
